EMFACE
EMFACE by BTL Aesthetics, which launched in 2022, uses electromagnetic stimulation to “exercise” the levator muscles – located in the cheeks and upper forehead – that are responsible for holding the facial tissue “up.”
The stimulation causes muscle toning and the increased production of collagen and elastin to produce a rejuvenated effect that still looks natural.
NEUROMODULATORS
Another treatment that launched in 2022 and is revolutionizing neuromodulators is DAXXIFY. Dr. Levine shared the following in Grazia Magazine:
“[Daxxify] contains the same core Botulinum toxin molecule as Botox, but it’s coated with a peptide.” Jennifer Levine, MD shares. “What this peptide allows it to do is to attach to the receptor more effectively and also hang around longer so this translates into longer-lasting results for patients.”
EVOKE
Evoke delivers controlled radiofrequency energy that encourages fibroblast stimulation enabling collagen regeneration. It tightens skin and reduces fat in the submental and lower face, helping sculpt the jawline. Immediate results can be seen on many patients after the first session, making it a great sculpting treatment shortly before a special event.
ULTHERAPY
Ultherapy has been the gold standard in facial sculpting with 10+ years of success. It is a non-invasive and highly effective treatment used to lift and tighten the skin on the face, neck, decollete and other areas including arms and knees.
Another treatment that uses the body’s own processes, Ultherapy works by using ultrasound energy to penetrate deep into the layers of your skin, stimulating collagen production by gently heating up deeper layers of tissues. This helps reduce wrinkles and sagging skin from the inside out, while also promoting firmer, more youthful skin over time.
Because it addresses the same layers of tissue as a surgical facelift would, Ultherapy can sometimes be used as an alternative to surgery, and in combination with cosmetic fillers and neuromodulators for maximum results. Unlike the aforementioned treatments, which require multiple sessions for optimal results, Ultherapy can be done in one session per treatment area.
