About Daxxify
Approved by the FDA in September of 2022, DaxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm from Revance Therapeutics Inc is the first peptide-formulated neuromodulator with long-lasting results.
How does Daxxify work?
“[Daxxify] contains the same core Botulinum toxin molecule as Botox, but it’s coated with a peptide.” Dr. Levine shared with Grazia magazine. “What this peptide allows it to do is to attach to the receptor more effectively and also hang around longer so this translates into longer-lasting results for patients.”
How long does Daxxify last?
The effects from Daxxify are said to last anywhere between six to nine months.
Daxxify vs. Botox: With Botox, one needs three to four treatments per year to maintain results. However, with Daxxify, one may need just two.
Is Daxxify right for you?
Each patient is different. To honor and best serve that uniqueness, we carry a variety of neuromodulators, including Botox, Xeomin, Dysport and now Daxi, to name a few. Dr. Levine will determine the best neuromodulator for you when you come in for your appointment!
How much does Daxxify cost?
As with any neuromodulator, the cost of Daxxify depends on how much a patient needs to achieve the desired effect. The benefit of Daxxify is that it has shown to last significantly longer and therefore may require fewer treatments throughout the year!
